Your farm starts in the highlands. Once it's doing well, you can buy land on the coast and in the countryside, each with its own scenery and weather.
Araucarias, morning fog, frost and even snow in winter. This is where the Festa da Uva (Grape Festival) happens.
Coconut palms, banana trees and the sea right behind your plot. It rains a lot and never freezes.
Cerrado savanna with ipê trees and buriti palms, red soil and flat-topped hills on the horizon. Dry winters, rainy summers.

Thirsty plants wait.Forgot to water? They just sit there quietly until you come back.
Your farm keeps going.Close the game and your plants and animals carry on at their own pace. Just come back and harvest.
A day lasts 24 minutes.Play for five minutes on the bus or a whole afternoon on the couch.

Farmteia opens right in your browser, and your farm is kept in your account: you can start on your computer and keep going on your phone. On phones, it's made to be played with the screen sideways, and it has lighter graphics for simpler devices.

Questions from the neighbors
Is it really free?
Yes. You can play the whole game without paying a thing. Ads only show up when you choose to watch one to earn double, and doubloons are optional.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The game opens in your browser. If you like, you can add a shortcut to your phone's home screen, and it opens just like an app.
Do I need to sign up?
You need an account, and it takes a minute: sign in with Google or create one with an email and password. That's where your farm is kept.
Will it work on my phone?
It works on most phones with an up-to-date Chrome or Safari. On simpler devices, choose the Light graphics quality in Settings.
Where is my farm saved?
In your account. The game saves on its own while you play, so you can keep going on another phone or computer: just sign in to the same account. In Settings you can also keep a copy of your farm in a file.
Do I need internet?
Yes, to open it: your farm comes from your account. If your connection drops in the middle of a game, whatever you do is kept on your device and goes to your account when the connection comes back.
Is it good for kids and older folks?
It's for everyone. There's no violence and no clock chasing you, the text is large and everything takes just one tap.
